Does phpinfo confirm your settings?
Sometimes server configuration tools have an impact on php settings and may override the settings in phpini. I had a similar problem, memory limit didn't change unless I took care of the certain config tool.

Hi,

You can ignore this message If you are sure that phpinfo shows safe_mode = off for dir where you want to install eZ publish.

Ask administrator for help with memory_limit or try with PHP ini_set function.

I´m sure that the "safe_mode" and "open_basedir" is Off!
I think it handles with the new confixx prof which is install on my server.

I think the confixx use the open_basedir anyway.
I will uninstall the confixx to check if it works to install ez afterwards.

Confixx: Search for the SWsoft Confixx support forum. There are many threads how to solve such PHP problems. I have Confixx running, too, and at the moment no problems...

Thx for your help, I think I found something!
There seems to be a setting in the confixx_vhost.conf where you can handle such settings with open_basedir!
Have to test it later! Will post my experiences for these users with such or similarly problem.

The setup wizzard is complete!
Normally, now i have to see my plain_site!
But I get an 403 Error, no access, after installation!??
