Exactly what "local stuff" settings were reported as not meeting the system requirements for eZ? Most of them are really required for eZ Publish to run properly. I still have message about "mbstring" missing. It's not listed among the extensions required for installing ezPublish. So, I checked "Ignore this test".
When I'm at 50% of normal install process : page "Site package", I try to load .ezpkg files. But nothign happen at all and I can't go any further.
I installed domxml extension, but got this message :
<strong>Fatal error</strong>: eZ Publish did not finish its request
The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.
If you check the requirements documentation page mbstring is refered to as "Multibyte string functions" and it is a requirement. I would first fix that, then continue and see what errors are left.
