Hello Siw

Just add an additional image alias in the image.ini.append.php. Example:

[file2png]
Reference=
MIMEType=image/png
# you can also resize the resulting image
#Filters[]
#Filters[]=geometry/scaledownonly=100;160

Hello Siw

what do you mean by 'without any luck'? Was there any picture created once you tried this alias (chck in the var/storage/images folder)? Did you get any error message?

How exactly did you try to create the image alias? (Maybe post your image.ini.append.php and the part of your template where you try to display the image.)

Do you use imagemagick or gd?

Sorry for the load of questions - it worked for me just fine so I am trying to find out what is going on.

EDIT: I just read that imagemagick needs ghostscript to work with eps files which is installed on my machine. So maybe this is the problem on your machine. If you have shell access to your machine, you can try the imagemagick command "identify -list format" (without the quotation marks) to see whether it can deal with eps files.
