You might be able to edit your classes and templates related to the 'forum', replace your forum attribute 'Message [Text block]' with 'Message [XML block]' and enable the online editor for your user siteaccess.

I'm not certain just the best way to limit display of online editor controls which you do not want to offer to forum users...

Thank you for your reply!

But I can't understand your last sentence.

I'm not certain just the best way to limit display of online editor controls which you do not want to offer to forum users...

Could you please explain it by using very simple English?

Sorry for my poor English. Thanks in advance.

Is it a pleasure after all to practice in due time what one has learnt?

No worries :)

I'm not certain just the best way to limit display of online editor controls which you do not want to offer to forum users...

You may need to search for how to disable buttons in online editor controls.

Perhaps someone with more experience in this area would comment.

Sorry, I couldn't find where to modify forum attribute:

You might be able to edit your <b>classes</b> and <b>templates</b> related to the 'forum', replace your forum attribute 'Message [Text block]' with 'Message [XML block]' and enable the online editor for your user siteaccess.
