The options for templates are only included in the content export, not the class export. By selecting an example node of the templates and classes, I was able to export them and import them successfully.
To get the overrides to take effect, I just had to clear the cache. Then I can just delete the imported content and replace it with content that is relevant to the new site.
This is a great feature for anyone who develops eZ sites for multiple clients and tends to create a new class or two that are the same on every site.
Great idea. The only thing that would improve the quality of my sites developed with eZ faster than borrowing templates from my other sites would be to borrow templates from lots of other developers' sites.
Certainly some things will not be uploaded because they can be proprietary, but if people want to it will just help the community.
I will add a suggestion in the appropriate place for a place in the Contributions section for classes.
