Unless I'm missing something in your question...
Yes, you can. Just create all the overrides you need, pointing to the same template file.
In certain cases (e.g. same templates for different siteaccesses, thus in different directories) I have also found convenient to use simlinks in the file system ("ln -s" in unix).
OK, but can I do this in the admin-interface or? I'm now creating the several templates as override for full.tpl, and I see I can edit them and load the defaults, but I can't really seem to change the file they're pointing to.
