It all really depends on the services and support you need/want.

Personnally I go for "ovh", since I am based in France. And they are the leaders in the country and I can provide my own support, all they provide is a dedicated server and high bandwdith, you then manage the servers yourself.

But if you need someone to manage your servers for you, then you are probably better off choising someone who will manage them for you, and then go for any company who provides that extra service such as webdeal in the uk, or for the country you are in:
