i called the upcase function either from pagelayout.tpl and mytemplate.tpl and it works... so it's a problem of my own function
but why does it work in pagelayout and not in mytemplate.tpl?
in index.php i set the session id in this way:
$http =& eZHTTPTool::instance();
$http->setSessionVariable( "session_id", session_id() ); then i call my function, but when i call it from mytemplate doesn't work, while from pagelayout it works perfectly...
