At the time of writing we do not have a downloadable PDF that describes the template system. However, we will be working very hard with documentation in the upcoming development cycle. This means that the stuff that you're requesting will be available sometime during the first quarter of 2004 (both web and PDF versions). In the mean time: please use the current web docs; if you're unsure about something: ask in the forum.
